  • Thanks to all the companies that came to play football. Thanks to all partners who supported this event. All of you will now help change the destinies of specific old people and the story of care for the elderly in the Czech Republic.
  • The proceeds from the tournament are 1 165 000 CZK and will support the work of nurses who guard the fragile health of Sue Ryder's clients day and night.

    We are a non-profit organization and have been digging for all of us for a dignified old age for 24 years. ⚽️

Foundation and initiative 8000důvodů - winner of the tournament in 2022

 "Of course we are very happy with the victory. But even more so because we came together and had the opportunity to make visible not only the dignified old age, but also the theme of our foundation and the 8000důvodů initiative - children at risk. We thank the organizers, rivals, everyone involved and also the fans who support us in what we do. We are looking forward to the next year!"

History of the Sue Ryder Charity Cup

The first event took place on September 17, 2009. Until today we have completed 14 successful events and we gathered the total proceeds of 12 468 460 CZK which was used to finance the dignified care of seniors. In the years 2009 to 2022 the events were joined by 140 organisations.


In September, 2022 the Cup was won again by 8000důvodů – Nadace J&T, the second place was taken by ČEZ, the third place went to DB Schenker. Many thanks to all those who have participated or are going to participate. Our deep thanks to all the partners, the special thanks to AC Sparta Praha, our general partner for 14 years!
